The Buildings Service-Driven Asset Management Plan was updated as part of a periodic review of all Council’s Asset Management Plans. The substantive changes to the strategic intent of these documents involves the inclusion of Asset Upgrade Strategies as drivers for continued investment into the services provided to the community by Bayside’s buildings and facilities.

Community engagement was conducted in 2016 on the draft Buildings Service-Driven Asset Management Plan. The most common theme within the feedback from the community regarded the importance of prioritising investment in facilities that serve several community groups, as opposed to single-use facilities.

At the June 2016 Council Meeting, Council endorsed the Buildings Service-Driven Asset Management Plan (available here)
