Planning for the future of athletics and netball in Bayside

Consultation has concluded

Update on the future of athletics and netball in Bayside

At the Council meeting on 20 December 2016 Bayside City Council resolved that it is not feasible to relocate athletics clubs to Dendy Park and the current Glamis Avenue track will remain the home of the Sandringham Clubs.

As a result a proposed new netball centre on the current Hampton athletics/netball will not proceed. Council will now seek alternatives to meeting the needs of both sports and is working with representatives from both groups.
