It is proposed to define this centre as a Small Commercial Activity Centre (Mixed Use) to acknowledge and protect its role in providing office/business accommodation and specialist retail services. Height limits in this centre will stay the same, at 2 storeys. This centre is currently zoned Residential 1 which allows for residential development and a limited range of other non-residential uses to serve local community needs. It is proposed to rezone three sites to Mixed Use which provides for a range of residential, commercial, industrial and other uses.
