It is proposed to define this centre as a Small Commercial Activity Centre (Mixed Use) to acknowledge and protect its role in providing office/business accommodation and specialist retail services. Height limits in this centre will stay the same, at 2 storeys. This centre is mostly zoned Mixed Use which provides for a range of residential, commercial, industrial and other uses with some areas in Commercial 1 Zone which allows retail, office, business, entertainment, community and residential use. The only change proposed is to rezone a private residence at 1a Esplanade Avenue to Neighbourhood Residential Zone to reflect its existing use. Further information in the Design Profile
